Crochet Blouse

I took this plain saree about 2 years back. Ever since, I've been planning to do some work on it.
When I laid my hands on this pink variegated yarn, I decided to do a blouse. I started searching for pattern and saw this .  I wanted smaller granny squares, so I had to adjust the number of squares accordingly.

I was in a hurry to click pictures that I forgot to sew in the loose ends.

Yoke part is made of 46 small squares joined together.
The body part is one big granny square. So 2 big granny squares, one for the front and one for the back.
The variegated yarn gives this simple granny square a very good look.

I did shell stitch around the neck and arm.

I bought a pink camisole and stitched it as lining to the crochet blouse.

Here is the blouse in action.
